As part of many gathering participants response to COVID-19, there have been conference calls taking place alternating nights at 6 PM West Coast Time / 9 PM East Coast Time.

Discussions include to gather or not to gather, how to hold spring council, and other things as well.

If you want to be join, the next one takes place on May 10th and then every other night from there.

I won’t be on long tonight. I am exhausted. I have found three sites where 10 and one site for 12 or less can go instead of going to Idaho. Hit me up for info. This is for travelers who have no where to go

I have been in tears over this. There are kids with no place to go, and there are people with an agenda. It is breaking my heart, and if these kids go to Idaho and get arrested – they don’t get that part, they just need somewhere to go. I have been working all day on this.

If people really need the equipment, they can access equipment for “responsible” people. WE thought about opening my land for people in land, but we will take people for quarantine people.

I can’t believe that people are trying to gather, people won’t be welcome anywhere. I guess now the children are getting sick.

Hey ___ , do you listen to this. Another brother, -- yeah I do! Hey brother--- we can’t have a gathering, it is crazy. What town will welcome us? It will destroy the family. WE don’t have to have a gathering this year. WE can have local picnics this year.

Old family chatting - - I can’t believe that people are actually talking about an annual gathering.

There a is a small contingency of people pushing for this gathering --- I believe that he has a personal agenda, and he is pushing for Spring council to happen and claims that a consensus to not gather that he would not – he is insisting that people have to show up for their voices to be heard despite that fact that 90% of the people that make this work want to postpone

There is a few guys in question, and they are talking inviting armed militia to “help protect the family”

Glad the calls are coming and glad to have a rational discussion. Interested in discussing not that we want to gather, of course we do, rather I want to discuss that we can. I would love to hear about how. And maybe discuss logistics and possibilities. Lay out valid reasons as to why or why not we should gather. There may be a small miracle, there may be someone out there with a way to pull it off.

We have toilet paper now in town! Winter is coming tonight. Expect a freeze. I am doing great. I enjoy all the energy and connection with people across the country.

I am thinking of taking care of our most people in the most need.

The gathering in Idaho, if they change the name, it is silly I know – then we can get the people who normally do…..(mumbling)

My opinion the gathering should be cancelled – get together in small, do not travel, please do not invade Idaho. I can’t believe people are so stupid to have a gathering, I knew it would happen, but it is the rainbow. – chuckles from many…

Support small, local gathering, I would like to offer PA as a spot, I think that can relief some of the pressure from Idaho. If enough of us do that, it can help a lot.

I planted some seeds and I have seeds for sharing from the --- “family seed share” on FB.

I like the seed share, and have been enjoying on FB – this is one you pretend that you are at a gathering and I made peace with someone on the FB page, I got into the role play—it made my heart feel warm – just the heart emoji made me feel forgiven. It is nice that we can feel the rainbow magic on these internet connections. We are finding creative ways to connect.

WE do really want to connect, I Feel our ability to communicate and flow like water around the obstacles. I am in the middle of the desert right now instead of traveling, I am enjoying my time in shelter in place.

Every year there is a shit storm online anyway about the gathering.

I love rainbow and love the community. I look forward to the pilgrimage. Our camp, and kitchen are not going. WE are not gathering but we do not want to create, it could be bad, = not only negative press – it could make people seriously sick, organ damage permanent

There are too many variables – the respectful and right thing to do is to not gather.

These calls are great to connect with everyone. It is a good example of keeping an open and transparent process. There is no censorship and people say what they have to say.

High degree of emotional maturity. These calls.

As far as the gathering, I am a relief worker and I can’t ask people to put themselves at an obvious disaster.

When you go to the front line, you need to be careful who you go with. Stress and being exposed to trauma and they can do extreme things. Anybody listening – I feel like having a wider outreach of smaller gathering is a better option. I can’t tell you what to do, spring council – I hope people respect what decision is made there.

Be careful who you step into the fox hole with, you do not know what will happen. I want to HONOR ALL FIRST LEVEL RESPONDERS – DELIVERY PEOPLE, TRASH COLLECTORS, NURSES, DRS, EMT, ETC.

Very peaceful check in. An idea: check ins throughout – versus a long check in time

People wanting to gather versus people wanting to postpone. 95% of major kitchens has decided to do stand in solidarity with 2021. Medical, calm, scouting, cleanup crews – the majority of the main infrastructure of the gathering have asked for postponement

There are a few kitchens that have not been part of the major process are the ones who are wanting to gathering in Idaho – I have heard that a small contingent of renegades who want to gather in the name of rainbow. J_____ you have set up council number, set up Facebook page and you are taking a main stance in promoting this gathering, and you personally do not have a whole lot of experience with setting up a gathering. I do not believe that you have the family’s best interest at heart. Lots of things you have said via this conference call s and FB pages,=== I personally worried about ARMED Protesters to “protect US’ from the law’s enforcement.

Things could get real tough when cops show up – none of those familiar faces will be there.

The four or five people trying

I am very concerned about the 4 people I know pushing the rainbow Idaho 2020 to happen, all of them have some issues – red flags ----you have people that are talking about scouting and calling in the native people for scouting – and then you have a person guy that volunteered to do trash – do they really know with that entails?

I had a few things. Being in the other conference call, I feel the hearts of some of the others that want to make the gathering happen, I feel the passion. I am trying hard to empathize. Rainbow is a microcosm, the sexual assaults, the mystery that happens, we get mad at that, we forget that rainbow is just a sample of our what is happening on the earth.

I want to be that point of transmutation and ripple the evolution into the rest of our reality on the planet. It is hard and I wonder is my ego involved in the resistance for those who want to gather.

For those wanting to gather:

HAVE YOU come up with a plan for when some is sick at the gathering? And is there a plan for people getting sick?

It is like children who are being told they cannot do something, WE all want the gathering to go well, but the risk is soooooo strong and seems so selfish – the whole world is fighting their buts off – following the protocol – trying to limit the effect on the hospital – the whole world is trying and struggling to do their best, some people here are saying they do not care.

I want to talk about – I want to help facilitate a gathering

I am looking for wood, water, main meadow. Parking, -- the meadow, our ritual in the woods ---- it is just a matter of WHEN === I am thinking of moving into looking for regionals when it safe – blank canvas for them.

GUNS in the CHURCH – if someone is going to bring violence and violent means to the gathering. There is a handful of individuals that are intent on conspiring to bring a radical contingent to the gathering – They would like to bring the militias to the gathering do draw cannon fodder. We are talking about bringing guns, I will bringing my penis. I am not going to show it, and it you are gonna wriggle your guns around people—you are some kind of weirdo. There are guns at gatherings, and we keep the concealed – we do not wriggle them around. What type of weird ship is going on this year?

I consider Idaho my back yard and my area of responsibility. This has got me a real moral conundrum this year.

I know what I know, but I want to know what you know. and we are wondering if you can convince others about the gathering

1. Do you have people available and stepping up to liaison with USFS and health dept? SOME USFS and no health dept.

2. What logistic covered? That is hard to say, we have enough supplies for a medium gathering 5-600 SOME

3. Is there is a plan for worst case scenario? Not answered.

If people are insistent on doing something in Idaho, and they use the name, I think this is so disrespectful – some have mentioned agent provocateurs it does make me wonder, it is going to harm us. We need to consider damage control during this event. And the damage control next year, I have been around politics – and I believe that it will turn into a major shit show – a major cop show – we need to consider all of the spin – these people are going to shit in our pool.

We are in grief – the stages of grief – denial, anger, depressed, bargaining, acceptance --- there are different stages we are all in. Then I think --- can we do small regionals – I think – am I insane. The states can’t even do this. Maybe in 6 weeks, on the fourth – it may be safe for us to have micro campouts – do not call anything a gathering but call all of them something else – just little seeds --- if it is safe. There will be some places having spikes. That is what I would ask people – pay attention, tiny, tiny camps when it is safe.

WE all know that a gathering can strain the local area. And would it be ok for the folks going to the “regional;” could you go someplace else. Take them where you can go to a larger community if they get sick they can go to a larger hospital.

Sister spoke and was very upset with the way she was taunted on the call. Those people have no respect for women of all ages.

I have been one of the biggest supporters with having spring council. As far as I am concerned, I have to step back, I can’t do this. It is sad to watch the family destroy each other. How can you destroy people in this – I CANNOT BE ON BOARD WITH THE IDAHO GATHERING. If someone wants to call me and me scout for smaller gatherings. But after what heard tonight, I can’t do this.

We are all part of a hypothetical affinity group, the place we agreed to go is now covered with hot lava, and we can see that we would not want to go. But there are a couple that say we must go – and they insist --- they want us to go into the hot lava to agree not to go in the hot lava. Hey everybody – there is a deadly virus out there and they want us to go, it is preposterous that people want to force others to put themselves in danger to not make a thing happen, that by rights does not need people to go to the place to make it happen. It is preposterous. There may be a dozen people that go, and hold vision council and decide where we will go.

The validity of that consensus may be questioned. Like those that reacted to J___ when he got started about holding the gathering – and now they have fizzled. But there were many more who supported this until they heard him and have lost confidence after listening to him.
